Rescue Center
A temporary shelter has been established to care for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or forced out of their homes. The shelter consists of two 10′ x 10′ rooms, each furnished with five to six bunk beds. Children store all their belongings at the foot of their beds.
These children come to Heart to Heart Orphans Children Centre (HTHOCC) because they have nowhere else to turn. Some have lost their parents and have no one to care for them, while others have been abandoned and left to survive on their own. Local police often bring children found sleeping on the streets to HTHOCC, knowing they will receive a safe place to stay, as well as food and clothing.
Psalm 82:3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
