Microfinance

Microfinance provides funds or loans to individuals who would not otherwise qualify due to poverty. Recipients receive training in good business practices, including how to start and manage a business, basic bookkeeping, and strategies for growth and expansion.

When someone requests support, they submit a business plan for review. Heart to Heart Orphans USA (HTHOU) evaluates each request to determine its viability. Loans are offered at low interest rates, helping individuals become self-sufficient despite limited job opportunities. This support not only enables personal growth but can also create employment opportunities for others in the community.

Sponsorship opportunities for microfinance ventures are available on an individual basis, ranging from $70 to $150. Along with financial support, Christian mentorship is provided, strengthening faith and fostering a greater dependence on Christ as recipients build and grow their businesses.
