Meet Joan, a determined 16-year-old student at Karama School. Her life changed dramatically when her father passed away, leaving Joan, her mother, and her two sisters to face life’s challenges on their own.

With her mother unable to find employment, the family now relies on the support of their uncle. Although he works as a social worker, his income is limited, and he is also responsible for caring for his own four children. Providing for such a large household is a constant struggle.

Despite these hardships, Joan continues to excel academically, consistently ranking at the top of her class. Her dedication and perseverance set her apart, and with the right support, she has the potential to achieve great things.
