Faith Khajina

Faith lives with her family in the slums of Kawangware. She is the eldest in a family of three children. They all live in a one room sheet metal house. Her parents work hard to ensure that their family’s basic needs are met. Her father is a carpenter and works at a local shop in the neighborhood while her mother is a teacher, volunteering at a local school.

Her father’s income is not enough to sustain their family. Faith will not be able to continue school unless she receives a sponsor because her parents cannot afford to pay her school fees. Despite the challenges they are facing, Faith is optimistic that she will join High School.

She loves cooking and singing during her free time. An opportunity to continue on to high school will give her a chance to realize her dream of becoming a Fashion Designer.
