Rescue Center

A temporary shelter has been established to care for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or forced out of their homes. The shelter consists of two 10′ x 10′ rooms, each furnished with five to six bunk beds. Children store all their belongings at the foot of their beds.

These children come to Heart to Heart Orphans Children Centre (HTHOCC) because they have nowhere else to turn. Some have lost their parents and have no one to care for them, while others have been abandoned and left to survive on their own. Local police often bring children found sleeping on the streets to HTHOCC, knowing they will receive a safe place to stay, as well as food and clothing.

Without HTHOCC, these children face a grim future, with low chances of survival and a high risk of falling into unsafe or unhealthy lifestyles. The shelter not only provides basic needs but also gives children the opportunity for a better future. More importantly, HTHOCC introduces them to Jesus, showing His love and kindness, which strengthens their faith and hope.

Plans are underway to build a rescue center that will provide more adequate housing, as the current facility is overcrowded and lacks the space needed to maintain proper hygiene. This new center will allow even more children to experience safety, care, and the love of Christ while working toward a brighter future.

Psalm 82:3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
