Derberl Baraka
Derberl is an 11-year-old boy living in the Kawangware slum with his aunt and older sister. When his mother became seriously ill and could no longer care for her children, she returned to her rural home. During that difficult time, Derberl’s aunt stepped in and welcomed them into her home, where they now live alongside her own children.
The family faces ongoing challenges, including providing enough food, paying rent, and covering the costs of clothing and school fees. His aunt, the sole provider, relies on temporary jobs to support the entire household.
Despite these hardships, Derberl is a bright and determined young boy who works hard in school. He dreams of becoming a pilot one day, and with educational support, he has the opportunity to pursue that goal and build a brighter future.
To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by helping those less fortunate with food, education, medical, and microfinance needs.
